The National Piping Centre

1. In case of dispute both parties will adhere exclusively to Scots Law with respect to any booking.

Online lessons

1. All users of the National Piping Centre’s on-line tuition service must agree to follow these terms and conditions.
2. Users must agree to follow the terms of use of skype.com (http://www.skype.com/company/legal/terms/tos_web.html).
3. Payment must be received in advance of the lesson. The National Piping Centre will not enter into an agreement to provide on-line tuition to the user until payment has been received.
4. Lessons must be booked 48 hours in advance.
5. The National Piping Centre can not be held liable for service interruptions or technical faults. If a lesson is disrupted for these reasons the National Piping Centre may reschedule the lesson at its discretion but refunds cannot be made. This does not affect your statutory rights.
6. Lessons last for 50 minutes and up to five minutes of this time may be used to solve any connection or set-up problems.

Lessons at the National Piping Centre

1. The standard lesson duration is 50 minutes.
2. Payment must be made in full in advance of the lesson. On payment, you will be given a token which you must give to your teacher as proof of purchase.
3. Cancellation: 24 hours’ notice or less of cancellation of a lesson booking and you will be liable for the full cost of the lesson.
4. Bookings made more than three months in advance may be subject to change.
5. Unused pre-paid lesson vouchers are non-refundable without proof of purchase.

Schools and courses

1. “Schools and courses” refers to any courses organised by the National Piping Centre including evening classes, seasonal schools and intensive courses.
2. A non-refundable deposit of 25% on all schools and courses is required to hold any booking.
3. Cancellation:
   1. Courses held in the UK: 14 days’ notice of cancellation or less – no refund will be given.
   2. Courses held outside the UK: 28 days’ notice of cancellation or less – no refund will be given.
